14 Product Design students receive Innovation Funding

14 Brunel Design students have received funding for their Major projects from a number of benefactors including The Dave Granshaw Foundation, Alan Spargo Engineers, Ruislip and St Martin’s Masonic Lodge, Aspaday and My Future Options who has also selected 2 students to receive personal development coaching.

All students are final year Product Design undergraduates and are completing socially oriented projects such as cycling road safety, walking aid kit for use by mobility rehabilitation centres in developing countries, cultivating algae as a potential source for power generation, a wheelchair for the developing world, an engine kill cord for power boats, a punch measure device for combat sports and an insulin delivery device.

The projects will be exhibited at Made in Brunel madeinbrunel.com on the 18th – 21st June 2015 in central London.
