Stephen Green

During his 25 year career in design and branding, Stephen has worked primarily in the consultancy business in a diverse range of industry sectors and applications for 3D design and branding, and a number of award winning design projects including The British Design Award, a Designers and Art Directors Silver award, and a Business Week award in 2002. More recently Stephen was a Client Director at Fitch, part of the WPP group and one of the largest global design consultancies. Stephen’s Higher Education experience includes six years at the highly respected Ravensbourne College of Design and Communication. Stephen has led many projects with external organisations including work with the BBC, Nokia, Mitsubishi, Kodak, Tate Modern and Marks & Spencer. He currently combines a major teaching input to the high profile design courses at Brunel, with leading the University’s role within Designplus.

Paula Neal

Paula Neal

Paula has worked within the design industry for 13 years for PDD, a successful product design consultancy, NCR’s e-commerce innovations group and BT’s Human Factors Unit. She is a specialist in people-centred design and has project managed research throughout the innovations process from concept generation to product launch. Paula has worked internationally for a wide spectrum of market sectors including consumer, technology, medical, financial, industrial and packaging brands. These include companies such as Sony Ericsson, Braun, Draeger, Hasbro and Autoglass. Her role within Designplus is to connect the University with industry through collaborative projects, inspiring events and professional development courses.

Amanda Baker

With a Graphic Design background, Amanda joins the team after 15 years in the Advertising Production industry having worked on projects for Renault, Clarks, Sainsbury’s and GE amongst others. Amanda helps with all aspects of the organisation of projects and collaborative events including the design, development and management of marketing materials, website content, communication with industrial partners, students and academic staff.

Paul Davies

Following a 20 year career in fast moving commodity markets specialising in PR China Paul ran and jointly owned a London based Recruitment Company providing staff and recruitment solutions to commodity trading companies and the city banks. In 2003 a change of direction saw Paul move into contract management working in East London for London Riverside Ltd managing London Development Agency and European Social funding to support London residents back into employment. In 2006 he moved across to West London to join West London Business, the sub regional chamber of commerce, again managing London Development Agency funding to support London residents to start a business or grow a micro business. In 2009 West London Business took on European Regional Development Funding to manage a project supporting London’s small and medium enterprises to internationalise particularly into the emerging markets, a continuing interest from his days in commodity trading. Following the successful conclusion of this project Paul moved to Brunel University to manage Co-Innovate the ERDF co-financed project linking Brunel to London’s Small and Medium Enterprises.
